Sorry for the delay, I couldn't find the time to do it because of HuangCheng.

There are some minor tweakings to be done still to the HTML, but I'm dying from the lack of sleep so I'll do those later.
And because I'm now reduced to a living zombie, I used the basecodes from my own blog layout. (Sorry, again!)

Founder's Day 2008

Hey everyone, as many of you would have forgotten, founder's day is coming and we'll being doing CIP on that day (whoopee!) Right, so here are some details.

Date: 20th Mar 2008 (Thurs)

Organisation: Whispering Hearts Family Centre
Nature of activity: Carnival
Venue: At the centre itself
Time: 10am - 2pm (reach at about 9.20am)
Target Audience: Students studying at the centre and possibly their parents. Open to the public for fund-raising for the centre through sales at the carnival
Dress Code: School Uniform / Half-U/ Fac Shirt (recommended)
What to do: Come to school on that day, transport should be provided

Okay, so here's what's up. We will be provided with 1 or 2 booths (mainly a space and tables and benches), the venue is like a void deck (where they have malay weddings and funerals etc.) The centre has about 80+ children ranging from 5-12 years of age, and the carnival would be dedicated to them, but will also be open to the public. So, we have to come up with either a
-games
-drinks
-food
-magic (balloon sculpture etc.)
stall, making sure the stalls cater to the children. Any suggestions ? Please post a comment or just voice it out to me or Jolene in school. A proposal has to be submitted by next Tuesday.
Once we come up with what to do, we have to buy what we need for the stalls, we'll need to pay 1st, keeping the receipts so that we can claim them from the people in charge. Our budget is at $100 (which is not alot) and if we're selling food, the amount would be estimated for 60-80 people. (similar to CNY carnival)

Alternatively, we can put up a performance to entertain the children (eg. dancing, singing of children songs, skits) etc. Of course we have to make sure the content is suitable for children of that age group. Students who are not required to man stalls on that day will be allocated tasks to bring the children around the carnival to play. (Theo don't get too excited) 08A10 has specifically been warned by our honorary loser club member Mr Teh that there should not be any inappropriate behaviour with the kids. So, ya just watch yourselves (or just watch Theo). That's about it, any queries can be directed to me. We owned in the CNY carnival, let's own this too!

hey everybody! this is your Infocomm rep here (s.h.star.t lah!) with SMB news about the inter-class blogging competition. which, we are going to WIN (duh! :D) ...and of course lose at the same time. we pwn!

Theme: Live with Passion
(showcase how your classmates and teachers live life to the fullest
and with passion... study with passion, play with passion, dance with passion...)

Prizes: S$1,000 worth of meal vouchers!
This sum is divided into the following:
1st: S$400
2nd: S$300
3rd: S$200
4th: S$100

As suggested by some students, we would ask the winning teams their choice for the preferred eatery/restaurant. For example, a class prefers Chinese food from a famous chain of restaurants while another prefers Japanese food.

Judging Criteria - CAP:
1. C for Content/Thematic Coherence (50%): i.e. Showcase how you “Live with Passion”
2. A for Aesthetics (20%)
3. P for Participation (30%)

Alright people as all of you should already know, Monday is orientation-2 (are you ready to jumpstart again?). POP (post-orientation-party) will be after that, which will be when we have our fac dance competition! Note: POP is compulsory for everyone and it'll be at night, so be prepared to stay late.
Please do not pon POP unless you have a valid reason. ~~LC don't even think about it~~. I'm hoping everyone in class turns up and dances on that day, just go even if you don't know the dance, Ares is the smallest fac and we desperately need the numbers. Here are some details about the dance, when to shout etc.

When to shout
1) Shout "Ares !" during the 1st song after you shake hands with your partner
2) During the 2nd song, it goes "And I'm about to go BOOM !" shout "BOOM !"
3) Shout the 2 choruses. It goes "Boom shake shake shake the room X3 tick tick tick tick Boom"
4) There's this part where you do body waves and high-fives and the song goes " ya really done want me to tig-a-tig-a-tig-a tell ya wassup (Yo)"
Shout the "Yo" part and the consequent "Yo" that follow every time you do a high five.
5) The part where you bend down, the lyrics go "because the crowd went hoooo" for the "hooo" part, scream at the top of your lungs
6) Last part with all the beats, just cheer and make alot of noise

Ares has a secret weapon, which are white gloves which you'll get on the day itself, it'll be very prominent among the sea of red when we're doing the dance. Get pumped up for the dance people, let's do Ares proud !

I honestly DID NOT INTEND to post this. The following article is brought to you courtesy of our Loser Club Pres :)

"A 54-YEAR-OLD paedophile methodically preyed on two eight-year-old boys, gaining their trust with gifts of food and toys, and even an excursion to the zoo.

Machine operator Soh Beng Huat, alias Teo Beng Huat, then lured them to secluded spots and sexually assaulted them.

On a number of occasions, he even took along with him an MP4 digital player or a portable camcorder with a tripod - to record the lewd acts.

Soh, married with three sons aged 14 to 27, was put behind bars for 22 years on Wednesday, after admitting that he had oral and anal sex on the two boys on 14 different occasions between October 2006 and March last year.

In sentencing him, Justice Choo Han Teck said that paedophiles with multiple offences should be punished with a lengthy term of imprisonment.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Shawn Ho told the court that Soh saw the first victim, who is mildly mentally retarded, with his older brother at a block of flats in Yishun.

He waited till the boy was alone, then struck up a conversation and told the boy to follow him.

They took two buses to the Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex.

There, Soh led the boy to the handicapped toilet cubicle in the male changing room, locked the door and told the boy to strip.

Soh then molested and performed oral sex on the boy.

After they left the swimming complex, Soh bought the boy a cup of ice cream and a curry puff. He then took the boy home.

Soh used the same modus operandi on another two occasions, taking the boy to Northpoint Shopping Centre and Thomson Plaza.

Then one day, while seeking out the boy, he chanced across the second victim, a foreigner studying in a primary school here.

He enticed the second boy to follow him to the swimming pool by promising to buy him toys.

After performing oral sex on the boy, Soh bought him a robotic toy and told him not to disclose what they had done.

He repeated the offence nine more times, at Chong Pang Community Club, Serangoon Community Club and a public park in Yishun.

Soh also sodomised the boy on three occasions, at a nursing room at Thomson Plaza.

A number of these sex acts were recorded either on an MP4 digital player or a camcorder mounted on a tripod.

On March 7, the second boy, accompanied by his mother, made a police report.

Soh was arrested three days later.

A search of his flat turned up DVDs and an MP4 player containing video recordings of the sex acts on the boys as well as other pornographic VCDs.

The camcorder and tripod were found in his letterbox.

On Wednesday, Soh pleaded guilty to five counts of having oral sex and one count of sodomy. Another 14 charges were taken into consideration.

DPP Peter Koy urged the court to impose a deterrent sentence in view of the aggravating factors."

Undeniably so, failing is part being a student. Most, if not all, students have received a failing grade on at least one occasion over the course of his/her entire academic life. And, of course, if you do know before hand you are going to fail the paper, what better way to make the best use of time, other than the 50 things that has been suggested by the article below...

Fifty Fun Things To Do During A Final That You Know You Are Going To Fail

Bring a pillow. Fall asleep (or pretend to) until the last 15 minutes. Wake up, say "oh geez, better get cracking" and do some gibberish work. Turn it in a few minutes early.
Get a copy of the exam, run out screaming "Andre, Andre, I've got the secret documents!!"
If it is a math/science exam, answer in essay form. If it is long answer/essay form, answer with numbers and symbols. Be creative. Use the integral symbol.
Make paper airplanes out of the exam. Aim them at the instructor's left nostril.
Talk the entire way through the exam. Read questions aloud, debate your answers with yourself out loud. If asked to stop, yell out, "I'm SOOO sure you can hear me thinking." Then start talking about what a jerk the instructor is.
Bring cheerleaders.
Walk in, get the exam, sit down. About five minutes into it, loudly say to the instructor, "I don't understand ANY of this. I've been to every lecture all semester long! What's the deal? And who the hell are you? Where's the regular guy?"
Bring a Game Boy (or Game Gear, etc...). Play with the volume at max level.
On the answer sheet (book, whatever) find a new, interesting way to refuse to answer every question. For example: I refuse to answer this question on the grounds that it conflicts with my religious beliefs. Be creative.
Bring pets.
Run into the exam room looking about frantically. Breathe a sigh of relief. Go to the instructor, say "They've found me, I have to leave the country" and run off.
Fifteen minutes into the exam, stand up, rip up all the papers into very small pieces, throw them into the air and yell out "Merry Christmas." If you're really daring, ask for another copy of the exam. Say you lost the first one. Repeat this process every fifteen minutes.
Do the exam with crayons, paint, or fluorescent markers.
Come into the exam wearing slippers, a bathrobe, a towel on your head, and nothing else.
Come down with a BAD case of Tourette's Syndrome during the exam. Be as vulgar as possible.
Do the entire exam in another language. If you don't know one, make one up! For math/science exams, try using Roman numerals.
Bring things to throw at the instructor when s/he's not looking. Blame it on the person nearest to you.
As soon as the instructor hands you the exam, eat it.
Walk into the exam with an entourage. Claim you are going to be taping your next video during the exam. Try to get the instructor to let them stay, be persuasive. Tell the instructor to expect a percentage of the profits if they are allowed to stay.
Every five minutes, stand up, collect all your things, move to another seat, continue with the exam.
Turn in the exam approximately 30 minutes into it. As you walk out, start commenting on how easy it was.
Do the entire exam as if it was multiple choice and true/false. If it is a multiple choice exam, spell out interesting things (DCCAB. BABE. etc..).
Bring a black marker. Return the exam with all questions and answers completely blacked out.
Get the exam. Twenty minutes into it, throw your papers down violently, scream out "Fuck this!" and walk out triumphantly.
Arrange a protest before the exam starts (i.e. Threaten the instructor that whether or not everyone's done, they are all leaving after one hour to go drink)
Show up completely drunk. (Completely drunk means at some point during the exam, you should start crying for mommy).
Every now and then, clap twice rapidly. If the instructor asks why, tell him/her in a very derogatory tone, "the light bulb that goes on above my head when I get an idea is hooked up to a clapper. DUH!"
Comment on how sexy the instructor is looking that day.
Come to the exam wearing a black cloak. After about 30 minutes, put on a white mask and start yelling "I'm here, the phantom of the opera" until they drag you away.
Go to an exam for a class you have no clue about, where you know the class is very small, and the instructor would recognize you if you belonged. Claim that you have been to every lecture. Fight for your right to take the exam.
Upon receiving the exam, look it over, while laughing loudly, say "you don't really expect me to waste my time on this drivel? Days of our Lives is on!!!"
Bring a water pistol with you. Nuff said.
From the moment the exam begins, hum the theme to Jeopardy. Ignore the instructor's requests for you to stop. When they finally get you to leave one way or another, begin whistling the theme to the Bridge on the River Kwai.
Start a brawl in the middle of the exam.
If the exam is math/science related, make up the longest proofs you could possibly think of. Get pi and imaginary numbers into most equations. If it is a written exam, relate everything to your own life story.
Come in wearing a full knight's outfit, complete with sword and shield.
Bring a friend to give you a back massage the entire way through the exam. Insist this person is needed, because you have bad circulation.
Bring cheat sheets FOR ANOTHER CLASS (make sure this is obvious... like history notes for a calculus exam... otherwise you're not just failing, you're getting kicked out too) and staple them to the exam, with the comment "Please use the attached notes for references as you see fit."
When you walk in, complain about the heat. Strip.
After you get the exam, call the instructor over, point to any question, ask for the answer. Try to work it out of him/her.
One word: Wrestlemania.
Bring balloons, blow them up, start throwing them around like they do before concerts start.
Try to get people in the room to do the wave.
Play frisbee with a friend at the other side of the room.
Bring some large, cumbersome, ugly idol. Put it right next to you. Pray to it often. Consider a small sacrifice.
Get deliveries of candy, flowers, balloons, telegrams, etc... sent to you every few minutes throughout the exam.
During the exam, take apart everything around you. Desks, chairs, anything you can reach.
Complete the exam with everything you write being backwards at a 90 degree angle.
Bring a musical instrument with you, play various tunes. If you are asked to stop, say "it helps me think." Bring a copy of the Student Handbook with you, challenging the instructor to find the section on musical instruments during finals. Don't forget to use the phrase "Told you so".
Answer the exam with the "Top Ten Reasons Why Professor xxxx Sucks"

OK losers, this will be short since I want to go and sleep. Chi Hern a.k.a 'a happier twin of dekonstrukcion' has asked me to tell all competitive runners to well, lose and get the slowest time ever. Except for Hui Shi, for some reason. I am guessing that he means the cumulative slowest time ever because if left to his own devices, Chang Peng will singlehandedly get the slowest time anyway. It would be more of a fight if Che Jian were (were, plural) a competitive runner too but since he is not, Chang Peng's road to the record is blessedly unhindered. Wow, that really took up a lot of space. It sure looks like I’ve done a lot. Actually, I have; who’s to say that Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V isn’t the most strenuous exercise ever invented by Man? I totally will spend my Mondays now not playing basketball but by copying and pasting, and I am sure that I will be able to maintain my slim and trim figure by doing so. The show comprises of two guys insulting each other’s mothers. Um, what else to say… Oh yah, the Losers’ Club EXCO is proud to announce the ultimate level in losing: Loser Enlightenment/Nirvana/Cheng Fo/whatchamacallit. It is the state in which the loser concerned does not even need to try and still loses anyway. All the time. This ground breaking discovery was made today when our VP realized that LCP had outclassed the rest of us by the proverbial country mile. The rest of us tearfully recalled the terrible ordeals we had trying to lose, while LCP effortlessly racked up the losses like Derby County, like being a polo player and managing to lose his glasses in the swimming pool. Yeah. And how an innocent drink can somersault in his hand and splash onto the floor.

More random babbling then: Jolene has just signed in twice in one minute, or is it just a problem with my Messenger. Many things that go wrong in my life are just problems with something I have, like, my brother. My brother is the second largest contributor to my problems. The largest contributor is, of course, Lester Wong. Maybe I should just kill this guy and most of my problems would be solved. But then I’d be dead, but then again doesn’t death solve all problems? No?

Am I supposed to write more stuff? How do Faze and Shen Hong write so much anyway? Am I supposed to care if I write more? Burma sets date for popular votes

Burma will hold a constitutional referendum in May followed by general elections in 2010, the country's military junta has said.

The regime had set out what it called a roadmap for democracy but had not previously given any firm timetable.

It made the announcement in a statement on state television and radio.

Burma has been under military rule since 1962. The country saw rare nationwide protests against the ruling junta in August and September.

Saturday's announcement said that "multi-party democratic elections will be held in 2010, according to the new constitution.

"It is suitable to change the military administration to a democratic, civil administrative system, as good fundamentals have been established," the regime said.

"The country's basic infrastructure has been built, although there is still more to do in striving for the welfare of the nation."

Burma held a multi-party election in 1990 that was won by the National League for Democracy (NLD), headed by pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

The military ignored the result and Ms Suu Kyi has spent 12 of the last 18 years under house arrest in Burma's commercial capital, Rangoon.

Instead, the military formed a convention in 1993 that spent the next 14 years laying out the guidelines for a new constitution.

Saturday's statement said the constitution would be finished soon.

Now that I'm in JC, I suddenly realise it will be quite soon before I know it, that I will be working in society, earning my own keep as an adult responsible for my own well-being. I found this letter, which I believe to be an extremely good example of how a resignation letter should be like..

Dear Mr. Baker,

As an employee of an institution of higher education, I have few very basic expectations. Chief among these is that my direct superiors have an intellect that ranges above the common ground squirrel. After your consistent and annoying harassment of my co-workers and me during our commission of duties, I can only surmise that you are one of the few true genetic wastes of our time.

Asking me, a network administrator, to explain every nuance of everything I do each time you happen to stroll into my office is not only a waste of time, but also a waste of precious oxygen. I was hired because I know how to network computer systems, and you were apparently hired to provide amusement to your employees, who watch you vainly attempt to understand the concept of "cut and paste" as it is explained to you for the hundredth time.

You will never understand computers. Something as incredibly simple as binary still gives you too many options. You will also never understand why people hate you, but I am going to try and explain it to you, even though I am sure this will be just as effective as telling you what an IP is. Your shiny new iMac has more personality than you ever will.

You wander around the building all day, shiftlessly seeking fault in others. You have a sharp dressed, useless look about you that may have worked for your interview, but now that you actually have responsibility, you pawn it off on overworked staff, hoping their talent will cover for your glaring ineptitude. In a world of managerial evolution, you are the blue-green algae that everyone else eats and laughs at. Managers like you are a sad proof of the Dilbert principle.

Seeing as this situation is unlikely to change without you getting a full frontal lobotomy reversal, I am forced to tender my resignation; however, I have a few parting thoughts:

When someone calls you in reference to employment, it is illegal for you to give me a bad recommendation as I have consistently performed my duties and even more. The most you can say to hurt me is, "I prefer not to comment." To keep you honest, I will have friends randomly call you over the next couple of years, because I know you would be unable to do it on your own.

I have all the passwords to every account on the system and I know every password you have used for the last five years. If you decide to get cute, I will publish your "Favorites," which I conveniently saved when you made me "back up" your useless files. I do believe that terms like "Lolita" are not viewed favorably by the university administrations.

When you borrowed the digital camera to "take pictures of your mother's b-day," you neglected to mention that you were going to take nude pictures of yourself in the mirror. Then, like the techno-moron you are, you forgot to erase them. Suffice it to say, I have never seen such odd acts with a ketchup bottle. I assure you that those photos are being kept in safe places pending your authoring of a glowing letter of recommendation. (And, for once, would you please try to use spellcheck? I hate correcting your mistakes.)

I expect the letter of recommendation on my desk by 8:00 am tomorrow. One word of this to anybody and all of your twisted little repugnant obsessions will become public knowledge. Never f*ck with your systems administrator, Mr. Baker! They know what you do with all that free time!

To Screw or Not to Screw

NEWSFLASH: President of Loser's Club pays home visitation to the Vice-President of the Loser's Club, supposedly to work on their Econs ILP. However, as seen from the above picture, there are many questions left unanswered by this seemingly innocuous home visit by the President to the Vice-President.

First, the President claims with much glee and delight (as evidenced from the above picture) that he is going to "[screw the Vice-President's] house up". Which is perfectly legitimate and reasonable, seeing as that it was the Vice-President's choice to invite the President over, and the Vice-President should necessarily bear all consequences of this home visitation made by the President. And of course, how the President be the President of the Loser's Club if he doesn't screw up his first home visitation made to his Vice-President?

However, the Vice-President claims otherwise: that the President is "screwing [the Vice-President's] house"! While it may never be known if this was an unintentional grammatical oversight on the part of the Vice-President, or this is meant to be interpreted the way it's read, one thing's for sure: the Vice-President is alleging that the President is having some form of torrid and adulterous sexual relations with the Vice-President's house!

While he may still be the President of the Loser's Club, this is indeed a whole new low for the President: to be caught in flagrante delicito with an inanimate object; a house no less! However, given that the President is the President of THE Loser's Club after all, it still remains to be seem if such an affair would only strengthen or weaken his power in the Loser's Club.

Heyy all, it's your ~~charismatic and irresistably handsome~~ vice-president speaking once more, in place of the much revered L.C.P, whom, to my knowledge, is indulging in acts of extreme loser-ism as we speak. Therefore it is up to me to take up the noble task of updating the masses on what has been going on in the Loser Club for the past few days.

Firstly, allow me to introduce to all of you, the very first member of our Loser Club Alumni.

(TADAA!!!)

Yeap, we have made L the first of our almighty alumni, simply because he's displaying one of the secret hand signs our mascot has been gibbering about. He is thus an important tool in the Loser Club's quest to propagate the glorious ideals of loser-ism throughout the entire school. Very soon, wtih his help, we will be able to develop further hand signs that are much more complicated in nature, such as those that indicate to other nations that it is perfectly legitimate to use HCJC schoolgrounds as an atomic bomb testing site.

Indeed, while one single alumni member would not be able to make that much of a difference, we are considering a wide variety of other loser-ish characters, such as Spongebob Squarepants (he's yellow. And he gays around with Patrick), Barney (he's purple. And he's supposed to be extinct), and Dora the Explorer (she's brown. And she's a retard), amongst many others. Eventually we will be able to assemble an alumni so loser, we can actually attempt world domination. But for now, let us take it one step at a time ~~because I'm worried that you dumbasses would not be able to handle so much info at once with your puny intelligence~~. :)

Secondly... Well, I'm sure all of you are quite familiar with this.

This is a hideous excuse of a logo. Look at the red twisted words, and the disgustingly calloused hand, and the crude manner in which the two elements are fixed together; it's absolutely pathetic.

Therefore, in accordance with the noble ideals of the Loser Club, we shall adpot this abstract combination of red words and fingers as our official logo. The artist of the logo, ~~Jolene~~ whackaboutit shall henceforth be promoted to Pubcom Fag head. Of course, those whom wish to overwrite her may do so at their leisure; we are all losers here after all.

Thirdly, it has come to our attention that there are requests for a new division to be formed. After much discussion and contemplation about our miserable existence, we have decided to allow the formation of this new division.

3. The 'crap-I-sleep-in-all/most-of-my-lectures'

Division.

Since this is a new intiative by ~~Shao~~ itwin1337, the pre-requisites of the division are entirely up to her to set, and the running of this division is designated to her ~~so that she can fulfill her deepest and most carnal desires by manipulating the members of this division~~. Lalala...

Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce everyone to a new term in our Loser Club lingo. Some of you might have heard of it; however, I believe this term deserves an official introduction.

From now onwards, all of the heads of the various divisions in the Loser Club shall be respectfully addressed as 'Fag Head'. Much like the way we bow to teachers when we see them walking towards us in the hallway ~~with canes and dangerous looks on their faces,~~ all inconsequential members of the Loser Club are to bow and greet them with a "Good morning/afternoon/night, Fag Head :)" whenever they run into a Fag Head.

Apart from looking after their respective divisions, all Fag Heads have the added responsibility of organizing 'Fag Dance Sessions', a joyous occasion in which everyone from your division get to experience the wondrous sensations of random arm twitching and torso spasms. The organization of such sessions are up to the discretion of the Fag Heads.

As a follow-up to yesterday's post, today's Pt. 2! How ever so exciting. In any case, today's post also specifically caters to the male gender minority in our class, especially when it comes to dealing with girls. So keep quiet and pay attention, little boys, if you don't want to screw things up! ;)

Understanding A Woman's Language

Meaning

"Fine"
This is the word we use at the end of any argument that we feel we are right about but need to shut you up. NEVER use fine to describe how a woman looks. This will cause you to have one of those arguments.

"Five minutes"
This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

"Nothing"
This means something and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards. "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with the word "Fine".

"Go Ahead" (with raised eyebrows)
This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over "Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine".

"Go Ahead" (normal eyebrows)
This means "I give up" or "do what you want because I don't care". You will get a raised eyebrow "Go ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by "Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five Minutes" when she cools off.

(loud sigh)
This is not actually a word, but is still often a verbal statement very misunderstood by men. She thinks you are an idiot at that moment and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

(soft sigh)
Again, not a word, but a verbal statement. "Soft sighs" are one of the few things that some men actually understand. She is content. Your best bet is to not move or breathe and she will stay content.

"Oh"
This word followed by any statement is trouble. Example; "Oh, let me get that". Or, "Oh, I talked to him about what you were doing last night." If she says "Oh" before a statement, RUN, do not walk, to the nearest exit. She will tell you that she is "Fine" when she is done tossing your clothes out the window, but do not expect her to talk to you for at least 2 days. "Oh" as the lead to a sentence usually signifies that you are caught in a lie. Do not try to lie more to get out of it, or you will get raised eyebrows "Go ahead" followed by acts so unspeakable that we can't bring ourselves to write about them.

"That's Okay"
This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can say to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before paying you retributions for what ever it is that you have done. "That's Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and used in conjunction with a raised eyebrow "Go ahead". At some point in the near future when she has plotted and planned, you are going to be in some mighty big trouble.

"Please Do"
This is not a statement, it is an offer. A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have a fair chance to tell the truth, so be careful and you shouldn't get a "That's Okay".

"Thanks"
A woman is thanking you. Do not faint; just say you're welcome.

"Thanks a lot"
This is much different from "Thanks". A woman will say, "Thanks a lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you have hurt her in some callous way, and will be followed by the "Loud Sigh". Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud Sigh", as she will only tell you "Nothing".

"GUTS" is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being assaulted by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to say, "are you still cleaning or are you flying somewhere?"

"BALLS" is coming home late after a night out with the guys smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the ass and having the balls to say, "You're next!"

The merits of being stuck at home on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Pardon the lousy quality, I only have Paint on my laptop, which is quite pathetic, heh.

So anyway, some announcements (:

Chinese New Year is coming and here is a reminder to stash away some of the precious angpow money because 08A10 is playing Secret Valentines.
This is to ensure no one feels miserable on Valentines Day, because some angels/mortals are non-existent.
And in a way we're helping to boost the economy.

This is how it goes, Secret Valentines:
By this week, you'll pick someone's name out of a container and then you're required to buy something for him/her and place it on the CT bench on Valentines Day.
The twist is, get something outrageous.
Preferably no fluffly Hallmark stuff or chocolates or chicken wings.
Anonymity is key, so your identity is protected. Feel free to unleash your (fill in the blanks),all in the name of going against the conventions of Valentines Day.

To ensure that no one gets toilet paper or Gummy bears from the Value Shop at $1.05, presents must cost above FIVE BUCKS.

Also, next week onwards we'll have to pia the class bench decorations as well as the banner for CNY, plus get the information for the cotton candy stall all settled.

Attention to all Loser Club Members (or anyone interested)

Heyy all, Vice President of Loser Club at your service. :)

Considering that our honorary president has recently concussed himself on a lamppost, and is therefore in no condition to attempt any publication activities of any sort, it is my duty as Vice-President to take over temporarily so as to ensure that the club does not wallow in the dark abyss of inactivity.

To start off, I shall update on the various sub-divisions that the Loser Club has come up with, so as to cater to as much of our consumers as possible.

1. The 'Omg-shit-I-failed-Mathes/Math' Division'.

This division of the Loser Club is highly prestigious, and therefore we have deliberately made the entry requirements as stringent as possible. The pre-requisites are as follows

- Must be able to fail 70% of their Mathes/Math test in any given year, irregardless of the standard or level of the educational institution the student is/was based in, or the difficulty of the test itself. Candidates whom have failed their 2007 end-of-years will be given top priority.

-Must be able to enter Mathes/Math lessons and come out of it thinking 'O shit, I juz stoned/slept thru the entire lesson. O well, i dun really give much of a shit'. Or alternatively, you can come out of the lesson worried about your performance, and attempt to mug, but end up failing anyway. If so, we will take you in as a member IMMEDIATELY.

-Must have the ability to self-initiate a blank out whenever coming into contact with numbers of any sort.

-Must have an intense dislike/phobia for the subject.

As can be seen, while 4 is easy to accomplish, the other 3 above it are far from mundane abilities that can be achieved through strength of mind and will alone. One must have the innate potential to screw up their Mathes/Math, and that is what we are looking for. ~~HAHA that means you can't join, LC. You can go s*ck my B*LLS!!~~

2. The 'Watching-the-grass-grow-is-so-interesting' Division

A significantly easier and less demanding division to enter. Basically, activities the division will be involved in, would be, as the name implies, watching the grass grow. It is an immensely satisfying and educational activity, as one would be able to observe the slow growth of the greenery for themselves, whilst admiring their spirit of not yielding to anything which may obstruct their growth.

Anyone can apply for this division, although we must tell you that those with the ability to stone will be held in much higher regard then the rest of the members. We have already identified the potential 'stoners' through various observations and detailed experimentation carried out in the lecture theatres or auditorium; however their identities shall remain hidden so as to ward off any assasination attempts, in lieu of the ~~not-so~~ recent incident in which Benazir Bhutto was murdered secretly via a combination of random objects, some of which include an alarm clock, an eye-patch, and a wooden toothpick.

So concludes the update on the various divisions we have set up. Rest assured that the Loser Club will come up with more random and dumb divisions to engage ~~you stupid retards~~ more of the student population.

Now, I shall brief all current existing members on the club activities, which will take place at random times and random locations next week.

1. Find the longest queue in the canteen, queue right up to the front, then head back to the end of the queue, and re[peat the process (Chang Peng I know you've been wanting to do this all your life).

2. Attempt to rob Chejian or Xiang jie of the Newsweek/Ares pullover money. Take extra caution to ensure that you end up being beaten up. Promotions will be considered for members whom end up in a corner of the toilet crying silently.

3. Point at the people throwing frisbees around the school and shout out the most vulgar and crude comment you can think of. All languages are acceptable.

So concludes the updates on the Loser Club 2008. Please know that should you wish to apply for membership into the Loser Club, you would only have to approach either Chang Peng or yours truly, Shen Hong.
